1 Corinthians 13:12

12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.-I Corinthians 13:12

Thank you God for the past 2 1/2 days. It has been both a devastating and encouraging time to spend with my friends and teammates. While we we are sad about Greg not returning as our principal, I am reminded that the reason we will do great things is because this has never been about Greg. It has always been about God and His will for our school.

Change is an interesting thing. It is both horrible and wonderful all at the same time. I am excited about the plans that God has for Greg and his family (Jeremiah 29:11) and curious to find out more about the plans God has for North Cobb Christian School (1 Corinthians 13:12).

I know that God has a great plan for North Cobb Christian. The more unrest and confusion, the more exciting it is to think how wonderful the future must be if the enemy is trying so hard to divide us. I know that we couldn’t fully comprehend the unveiling of the whole thing right now, but selfishly, I wish God would show us just a little more. Oh yeah, that’s where faith comes in right?

My prayer this week is that our conversations, reaction, and response would be one that would honor Greg as the leader of our group, but most importantly would point to Jesus Christ as the author and finisher of our salvation.

Thank you Lord for a few days to wallow and to feel sorry for myself. Thank you that you don’t need me to agree and that your ways are much higher than mine. Thank you also that friendships will continue and that we will still be a part of each other’s journeys regardless of the locations you have called us to. What is there to complain about? Spending eternity together is a lot longer than anywhere we’ll serve on this earth!
