We had a great time this past Sunday celebrating the 2 year anniversary of what God is doing in and through Freedom Church. The heart of our church from the very beginning has been to reach those who are far from God so that they can experience life in Christ. The entire worship experience included opportunities for us to celebrate what God has done. From the video, to the welcome, to the slam poet, throughout each of the songs, and resonating in Pastor JR’s message was the theme that God is not done yet…Freedom 2.0 is only the beginning of the revolutionary movement of God that is ushering in here in Acworth, Georgia.
Here are a few of my notes from Sunday morning:
- It’s not about what we bring to the table.
- The message of the Cross is powerful. It propels us into a relationship with Christ and a desire to reach others for His glory.
- Northing about our situation or circumstances can add to the power of the message of the Cross.
Come join us this Sunday at 9:45 or 11:15am at Barber Middle School in Acworth. In March, Freedom Church is hitting the road again. We will be meeting at North Cobb High School starting March 7th. We are moving so that we have more seats available and a more desirable location so that people far from God can experience life in Christ. Come join us and and invite someone to come with you!
