- Can you imagine how crazy it must have been to be the earthly parents of Jesus?
- You can definitely see God’s protection and provision in the first days of Jesus’ life as King Herod put together a wicked plan to find Jesus and have him killed.
- Other than the fact that he was the perfect, sinless Son of God, Jesus grew up like most other little boys.
- Luke 2:52 says “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” If Jesus had to intentionally focus on growing in these areas…and He was the Son of God already…how much more then do I need to intentionally focus on spiritual, mental, physical, and social development?!
- In John 2, Jesus and his family were at a wedding that ran out of wine for the guests. Jesus took water and turned it in to wine. This was his first miracle. It is also the opening line of Tomlin’s “Our God“.
- “Our God” has become somewhat of an anthem for those who desire to see God do amazing things in and through our lives. Something that will truly count for His glory and the good of others.
