DISCIPLES LIVE WITH NOT ONLY renouncing their own rights, but even renouncing their own righteousness. They get no credit themselves for what they do and sacrifice.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will he filled. ” Matthew 5:6
If a church renounced its own righteousness, what changes might take place in the way that church relates to other churches, the secular world, and other religions?
For the word of the LORD is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the LORD. Psalm 33:4-5
