Give Thanks

Today I am thankful for…

GOD who loves me and gave His son sacrificially to pay the price for my sins.
JESUS through whom I have been redeemed and restored into a relationship with God.
The HOLY SPIRIT that convicts, leads, and guides me to honor the Lord with my actions, my attitude, and my thoughts.
CLINT who is the most godly, wise, loving, handsome, strong, hilarious, and amazing husband I could have ever been blessed to spend all my days with.
EMMA who is my beautiful, gorgeous, adventurous, creative, and loving sweet daughter who will do amazing things for the glory of God and the good of others.
My MOM who has always set for me an incredible example of what it looks like to love your family and encourage them towards their dreams.
My sister KATIE and her husband JD who are some of the most generous, thoughtful, creative, and passionate people I know that I would also choose as dear friends.
My brother KEVIN who has so graciously always gone along with the plan, served his family and his country well, has been the source of so many fun adventures over the years, and an all around awesome guy to hang out with.
My in-laws MARTY, GAIL, and GREG who love our family so well, who raised a son that is so thoughtful and caring, and who are always fun to have around.
NORTH COBB CHRISTIAN SCHOOL, a place where we can be bold about the pursuit of truth, somewhere that I absolutely love to go and serve everyday, the home of many of my most abiding and rewarding friendships, and a source of so much happiness for our family as we “do life” with the NCCS community.
CEDARCREST CHURCH where we have found a place of worship, a community of connections and encouragement as we grow together in Christ, and a place for us to serve utilizing the gifts and abilities that God has trusted us with.
LIBERTY UNIVERSITY, a place that allows me to grow in knowledge and truth as I seek to grow in both the understanding and application of God’s word as I completed my masters degree and as I pursue my doctorate in education.
FRIENDS that encourage me in my walk with the Lord, who hold me accountable to being a person of integrity, and challenge me to run hard after Christ for the glory of God and the good of others.

Psalm 31:19

19  Oh, how abundant is your goodness,
which you have stored up for those who fear you
and worked for those who take refuge in you,
in the sight of the children of mankind!

Psalm 95:1-6

1  Oh come, let us sing to the Lord;
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
2  Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
3  For the Lord is a great God,
and a great King above all gods.
4  In his hand are the depths of the earth;
the heights of the mountains are his also.
5  The sea is his, for he made it,
and his hands formed the dry land.

6  Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!

Psalm 100

1  Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
2  Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!

3  Know that the Lord, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4  Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!

5  For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.

Psalm 107:1

1  Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever!

1 Chronicles 29:11-13

11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.12 Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.13 And now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name.
