Catching up on posting my notes from Week 3 of the Dominate series. This series has really fired up our church about reaching Acworth for the glory of God and the good of the people of this city.
Our text for Week 3 was Acts 4:1-12 and below are some notes I took.
-Once people have experienced the life-changing power of Jesus Chris, religion will no longer be enough.
-When is the last time we took a risk to share the message of Jesus?
-A revolutionary movement of God demands a revolutionary sacrifice and guarantees a revolutionary reward.
-v7 “By what power or what name did you do this?”
-People are saved at the name of Jesus. Period.
-We can be bold and act in complete freedom because we don’t answer to those who oppose us. We answer to Christ and Christ alone.
-We have to follow God when it doesn’t make sense.
