Our theme this morning for Week 3 of We Bare All was “Sometimes I Am Scared to Death”. The text was Exodus 4:1-12. I think this is a theme that everyone can resonate with. I know I can think of times in my life that I missed out on God’s blessing simply because I was too scared to put one foot in front of the other and make it happen.
-God always equips you to do that which He has called you to do.
-God made it clear to Moses that He is bigger than Moses.
-How often do we question what God has called us to say rather than realizing He created our mouths in the first place?
-What is God calling us to right now that we are trying to ignore?
-God is asking us to have just a tiny amount of courage in the midst of our fear.
-What if I don’t live out what God created me to live for?
-Is my goal in life to arrive safely at death?
-How many lives are being changed for the glory of God as a result of how I’m living my life?
-Fear leads to paralysis and that causes you to stay in your seat when God is telling you to stand.
-Your divine moment is staring you in the face.
