If you know me at all…you know that I have a little trouble staying awake at the movies…to say the very least!\u00a0 I really enjoy a great movie, but I often don’t go to the movies because I fall asleep so easily.\u00a0 With movie prices creeping up, that can turn into an expensive nap!<\/p>\n

This summer I had the privilege of travelling to Haiti and then to Jamaica.\u00a0 I watched a movie on each of the 4 flights those travels covered.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Chappaquiddick was a movie about Senator Ted Kennedy and his friends and a series of poor choices after he was involved in a car accident leaving the island of Chappaquiddick one night.\u00a0 \u00a0Many believe that one event is ultimately what kept him from eventually becoming President of the United States.\u00a0 It was another chapter in the heartache that seemed to follow the Kennedy family for multiple generations.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

12 Strong was a great movie about the first unit to head to the Middle East after 9\/11 happened.\u00a0 It was interesting to learn more about the initial thoughts behind military strategy, targets, etc. as the Operation Freedom got up and running.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

15:17 to Paris was honestly pretty slow.\u00a0 Most of the highlights were covered in the previews.\u00a0 The only part that particularly stuck out to me was the fact that the guys involved had grown up in a Christian school.\u00a0 They recently spoke in convocation at my alma mater, Liberty University sharing their story of what happened on the train that fateful day.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Post with Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks may have been my favorite of all as it used two of my favorite actors to share the story of The Washington Post in light of lots of political challenges to the freedom of the press.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
