{"id":123,"date":"2007-11-05T20:46:09","date_gmt":"2007-11-06T01:46:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/meganstrange.com\/?p=123"},"modified":"2007-11-05T20:46:09","modified_gmt":"2007-11-06T01:46:09","slug":"powder-puff-football","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/meganstrange.com\/?p=123","title":{"rendered":"Powder Puff Football"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/meganstrange.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/11\/puff024.jpg\" title=\"Staff Powder Puff Team\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/meganstrange.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/11\/puff024.jpg\" alt=\"Staff Powder Puff Team\" height=\"381\" width=\"506\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Some of my fondest high school memories center around Homecoming Week during football season.\u00a0 We always played Powder Puff football.\u00a0 This year, we decided to give it a try at North Cobb Christian.\u00a0 We planned for weeks and encouraged all the girls to sign up and play.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, November 1st, the first game was freshman vs. juniors and the second game was sophomores vs. seniors.\u00a0 Just as predicted&#8230;juniors and seniors each won their games.\u00a0 On Friday, the juniors and seniors played for the championship and the seniors won.\u00a0 The second game on Friday was the seniors against the staff.\u00a0 We had a pretty formidable team as you can see from the picture above.\u00a0 But&#8230;alas, victory eluded us, and the seniors were victorious again!\u00a0 We all had a great time.\u00a0 Four days later, most everyone is recovered and ready to head back to school again.<\/p>\n<p>You really never get too old to play outside!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Some of my fondest high school memories center around Homecoming Week during football season.\u00a0 We always played Powder Puff football.\u00a0 This year, we decided to give it a try at North Cobb Christian.\u00a0 We planned for weeks and encouraged all the girls to sign up and play.
