11 months"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This has been a great month for Little Miss Emma. \u00a0She is having a great time pulling up on everything and trying to figure things out. \u00a0She also seems to really enjoy those two teeth that she has. \u00a0She has started eating some new foods. \u00a0Emma has tried crackers, spaghetti, and a few other things.<\/p>\n<p>Uncle JD came to visit for the weekend and Emma had a great time showing off her new skills with him. \u00a0She also had her nine month checkup and the doctor said she looks great!<\/p>\n<p>We were out to dinner with some friends celebrating a friend&#8217;s birthday. \u00a0One of our friends was holding another little girl and feeding her crackers. \u00a0Emma checked out the whole situation and decided she was pretty jealous that she wasn&#8217;t being held. \u00a0I decided to use her jealousy as a motivation. \u00a0I took a cracker and gave it to her. \u00a0She ate the whole thing while staring at our friend as if to say, &#8220;I eat crackers too&#8230;hold me!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>We ended up having an unexpected day off to spend at home together when the incessant rains led to some flooding in the Acworth area. \u00a0Emma&#8217;s school was closed for 3 1\/2 days. \u00a0 She seemed to enjoy being home and getting to nap in her own bed. \u00a0However, when her school finally reopened, she was so excited to see everyone!<\/p>\n<p>Emma had a chance to go to her first concert this month. \u00a0We took her to see Third Day on the Glory Revealed Tour at the Verizon Amphitheater. \u00a0She had a great time! \u00a0We spent that morning at Fall Festival at North Cobb Christian and she really laughed when the kids dunked me in the dunk tank. \u00a0She slept great after a day at Fall Festival and an evening at the concert. \u00a0What a trooper!<\/p>\n<p>This month marked a few more milestones in Emma&#8217;s journey to her first birthday. \u00a0She is trying all kinds of new things. \u00a0We decided to put our coffee table in the basement to free up some extra room in the living room. \u00a0She is having a blast being able to crawl and pull up all over the place downstairs.<\/p>\n<p>We are so thankful that God chose to bless us with Emma. \u00a0Clint and I never could have imagined how wonderful it would be to watch her grow up. \u00a0She just takes our breath away with how precious she
