Another great morning at Freedom Church<\/a>! \u00a0Clint and I were looking forward to a great morning. \u00a0It was the first Sunday in a while that we have sat together in worship. \u00a0We invited some friends to come and visit and they loved it. \u00a0I put on Twitter<\/a> this morning how much I loved Freedom because it is so easy to invite people to join us in this revolution to reach Acworth so that people far from God can experience life in Christ!<\/p>\n

Pastor JR’s<\/a> message continued our series on the core values of Freedom Church. \u00a0This week’s focus was on partnership. \u00a0We don’t have members and volunteers at Freedom. \u00a0We have partners. \u00a0Those are people who have experienced God for themselves and are willing to do whatever it takes to reach others for His glory. \u00a0The text this morning was John 2:1-11 which is fairly familiar as the story of Jesus turning water into wine. \u00a0Below the text I have posted some notes I wrote down this morning.<\/p>\n

Text: John 2:1-11<\/strong><\/p>\n

1<\/strong> On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there,<\/span>2<\/strong> and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.<\/span><\/p>\n

3<\/strong> When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, \u201cThey have no more wine.\u201d
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

4<\/strong> \u201cDear woman, why do you involve me?\u201d Jesus replied, \u201cMy time has not yet come.\u201d
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

5<\/strong> His mother said to the servants, \u201cDo whatever he tells you.\u201d
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

6<\/strong> Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

7<\/strong> Jesus said to the servants, \u201cFill the jars with water\u201d; so they filled them to the brim.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

8<\/strong> Then he told them, \u201cNow draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.\u201d
\nThey did so,<\/span>9<\/strong> and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside<\/span><\/p>\n

10<\/strong> and said, \u201cEveryone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.\u201d
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

11<\/strong> This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him. <\/span><\/p>\n
