I\u2019ve had a lot of conversations recently with friends and families at school and church who are walking through difficult things. This world is broken (Genesis 3) and life can be really hard. I\u2019m so grateful that we don\u2019t have to do it alone. In these verses, the Lord is reminding Israel of who He is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More often than not, when I\u2019m discouraged\u2026it\u2019s simply because I\u2019ve not remembered who God is. I find myself trying to do things on my own or find peace in things that aren\u2019t able to bring peace. I can find myself assigning worth to things that aren\u2019t worthy\u2026Christ alone is worth of my attention and affection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m so grateful that the Lord has given me the gift of the Bible. This book is God\u2019s word that points me to the character of God and is my guidebook for all that will come up in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lord knows we can\u2019t handle all that this world brings our way\u2026we weren\u2019t designed to do that. We will fall short. We will get discouraged. Until we lift our eyes to Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I pray for those that are walking through difficult things, I\u2019m asking the Lord to help me keep my eyes on Him, my heart consumed by His love and grace, and my mind stayed on His faithfulness. When we look to Christ, we can be reminded\u2026even in the midst of the hard\u2026that the BEST IS YET TO COME!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
