This past Monday, Emma turned 16 months old! \u00a0The only reason I am able to sit down and write this post is because the little monkey is in the bed. \u00a0Emma is such a precious little angel! \u00a0She is walking and running everywhere she goes. \u00a0She has no fear at all and is hilarious to watch when she gets an idea in her mind. \u00a0She cannot be deterred from her mission!<\/p>\n

Emma really likes all kinds of foods. \u00a0Tonight we picked up a pizza to watch the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament. \u00a0Emma ate her Gerber Toddler Meal and then a whole piece of pizza! \u00a0She eats more than some of the teenage boys at my school.<\/p>\n

Emma moved into the toddler room at school this past month. \u00a0She is really enjoying playing with the bigger kids. \u00a0For a long time, she was the only kid in her class that could walk. \u00a0Now she has friends that can keep up with her. \u00a0Her teacher told us that Emma had a hard time going on the playground because she didn’t like to walk on the woodchips. \u00a0She has conquered that and is usually the first one to head out when it is recess time. \u00a0She also takes naps with a mat now instead of a crib. \u00a0What a big girl!<\/p>\n

I say it every month…but it continues to be true. \u00a0Emma is a precious little girl and we are having such a great time watching her go through all of these phases. \u00a0Right now she has 6 or 7 teeth all trying to come in at the same time. \u00a0It has been several days since we slept completely through the night. \u00a0But…there is no better reason to get up at night than to have a chance to try and help Emma feel better.<\/p>\n
