Wherever the gospel has gone, the academy follows.<\/p>\n<p>We have lost some of the connections between the gospel and learning.<\/p>\n<p>Work out relationships between theological realities and intellectual ramifications.<\/p>\n<p>As the gospel loses sway in the West, we shouldn\u2019t be surprised to see confusion about intellectual life.  The Christian life provides the necessary substructure for a meaningful intellectual life, actually any knowledge whatsoever.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n1.    Creation<\/strong><br \/>\na.    Christians-God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth<br \/>\nb.    World is created by a good God, therefore, a good world<br \/>\nc.    \u201cCreatoexnilio\u201d-Creation out of nothing<br \/>\nd.    can get sidelined by questions about the age of the earth, cyclical age, etc.<br \/>\ne.    What does it mean that God spoke the world into being?<br \/>\ni.    There is something there to be known that impinges upon you.<br \/>\nii.    Nietsche-reason is worthwhile, there is an order to things,<br \/>\niii.    Kareem Rasheed, creator \u201cI didn\u2019t like nature because it was already done.\u201d<br \/>\n<strong>2.    Sin<\/strong><br \/>\na.    Sin affects every part of us including our intellectual life and minds<br \/>\nb.
