The prayer of the  righteous is powerful and effective. James 5:15-16<\/li>\n<li>How does looking at other people through the lens of God&#8217;s mercy change  our feelings about them and about ourselves?<\/li>\n<li>May he judge your people with righteousness,   and your poor with justice.  May the mountains yield prosperity for the  people,  and the hills, in righteousness.  May he defend the cause of  the poor of the people,  give deliverance to the needy,  and crush the  oppressor.
