This book is a quick read.\u00a0 There isn&#8217;t anything super revolutionary, but there are a few interesting ideas to review.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Start early, and know your goal.<\/li>\n<li>Be patient.<\/li>\n<li>Beware of losing other people\u2019s money.<\/li>\n<li>Work hard and save your money.<\/li>\n<li>Invest only with a \u201cmargin of safety.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Profit from other people\u2019s money.<\/li>\n<li>Adjust your life to suit your work.<\/li>\n<li>Stick to what you know.<\/li>\n<li>Own up to your mistakes.<\/li>\n<li>Whenever he makes a mistake, he is the first to admit it and claim the blame.<\/li>\n<li>Look for great businesses.<\/li>\n<li>Invest in what you believe in &#8211; but only when it\u2019s cheap.<\/li>\n<li>Become your own margin of safety. Then ignore lesson 12.<\/li>\n<li>When your investments get in trouble, don\u2019t just stand there. Do something.<\/li>\n<li>Swim against the stream. Ignore your critics.<\/li>\n<li>If you can\u2019t stand the heat, step away.<\/li>\n<li>As Warren Buffett\u2019s story shows, successful investing requires a talent and strength of character that very few of us can claim.
