Kitty&#8221; Baby Shower"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are so excited about the upcoming arrival of <a href=\"http:\/\/thegraffamlife.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Baby Graffam<\/a>.\u00a0 My sister and her husband have prayed for this baby for so long and we are all so excited to meet this precious angel in just a few weeks.\u00a0 They are not finding out the gender of the baby until it is born, so that will make the surprise even more fun!\u00a0 Ever since we learned about Baby Graffam&#8217;s impending arrival back in the fall, Emma has been calling the baby &#8220;Hello Kitty&#8221;.\u00a0 I think that is a pretty good sign as she is a HUGE Hello Kitty fan.\u00a0 I am certain this means that she is already a huge fan of her cousin.\u00a0 That&#8217;s pretty good considering Emma will be losing her spot as the sole child in the extended family.\u00a0 She loves talking about her cousin and can&#8217;t wait to meet him\/her.\u00a0 Of course, she is hoping for a &#8220;her&#8221; so that they can dress alike and do all kinds of girly things.\u00a0 If it is a boy, Emma said, &#8220;we will leave him outside.&#8221;\u00a0 Well&#8230;there&#8217;s one solution I guess.<br \/>\nOver MLK weekend, we had the pleasure of heading to Memphis for the long weekend so I could get together with Katie&#8217;s longtime best friend Jennifer to throw a baby shower for my awesome little sister.\u00a0 The part was a lot of fun as we reconnected with old friends and met many new ones.\u00a0 It is evident that everyone who cares about Katie and JD is looking forward to this baby because they know what awesome parents they will be!\u00a0 Jennifer and I split the shower duties&#8230;she did decorations and I did food.\u00a0 I think everything turned out really good.\u00a0 The most important thing&#8230;Katie seemed to really enjoy herself and the baby got some awesome gifts!<\/p>\n<p>Here are some pictures from the shower&#8230;<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1'
