We have been in the process of adopting our son for the past two years. \u00a0I’ve blogged about it here<\/a>, here<\/a>, and here<\/a>. \u00a0We are excited to know that the day is drawing near that we will be able to bring our son home! \u00a0International adoption takes a long time and we still don’t know when we will bring him home. \u00a0Our family is resting in the peace that God knows the perfect time for our son to join our family.<\/p>\n

We are so grateful for so many of our family and friends that are praying diligently for our family in this endeavor. \u00a0Clint decided last week that our family would cut out cokes and sweet tea in an effort to focus on praying for our son to come home. \u00a0I am so grateful for my husband and his spiritual leadership in our family!<\/p>\n

My birthday was yesterday and one of my dearest friends gave me a water bottle with a note that said “until Eli comes home” to indicate that she is joining us in this endeavor to pray our son home. \u00a0What an awesome demonstration of the body of Christ and what it means to focus wholeheartedly on the things that God has placed before us to accomplish in His name.<\/p>\n
