{"id":9958,"date":"2016-05-31T19:52:56","date_gmt":"2016-06-01T00:52:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/meganstrange.com\/?p=9958"},"modified":"2016-05-31T19:52:56","modified_gmt":"2016-06-01T00:52:56","slug":"emma-and-eli-april-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/meganstrange.com\/?p=9958","title":{"rendered":"Emma and Eli: April 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\" standalone=\"no\"?--><\/p>\n<div>April means Spring Break in the Strange house! \u00a0I got home from my mission trip to Haiti on April 2 and it was so great to have Clint, Emma, and Eli pick me up at the airport\u2026always the best part of coming home! \u00a0The day after I got back, Emma and I went out to eat with some of the ladies from school and their kids. \u00a0Lots of fun catching up! \u00a0After church that Sunday we did some errands and hung out with friends. \u00a0Emma and I went out to lunch that Monday and Emma paid! \u00a0She was so pleased with herself\u2026I love her generous heart!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Emma and I headed to Memphis for a few days over Spring Break to spend time with my mom, my sister, and her sweet family. \u00a0My niece Nora is just a few months younger than Nora and we always love to see what she is up to! \u00a0Katie and JD\u2019s twin boys are 18 months old and growing up way too fast! \u00a0We had lots of fun with the kids and enjoyed a girls day with Aunt Katie at the Memphis Zoo, shopping, and the nail place. \u00a0Always a treat! \u00a0Emma loved helping with the cousins..especially when she and Nora were riding in Nora\u2019s little jeep all around the neighborhood! \u00a0We also had a special treat when Coach Winnette took us on a behind the scenes tour at Gibson\u2019s Donuts\u2026a Memphis landmark. \u00a0Super cool! \u00a0We ate way too many donuts that day! \u00a0Emma and I also got in some bike riding and special girl time on our trip.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>When we got home, we spent the rest of Spring Break at NCCS baseball games and hanging out with friends.
