IN CHRIST

meganstrange 0 comments

Our choices led to sin. Our sin led to separation between us and God. God didn’t want to be separated from us, so He sent His one and only Son to pay the debt for our sin through His death on the cross. Jesus rose from the dead three days later and ultimately ascended into heaven to rejoin His rightful place at the right hand of God almighty. All of that was to restore us to a right relationship with God.

Ephesians 2 reminds us that we are no longer far off if we are in Christ. The gospel says that we are now one with Him because of the blood of Christ. When God looks at me, He doesn’t see my wretched sin, instead He sees the perfect righteousness of His Son. Hallelujah, what a Savior!

God is faithful. He is working.
