One of the most incredible things about the Lord and one of the hardest things for me to understand about God is the fact that he knows the depths of my heart and the ugliness within…and He loves me still. It goes against everything our “what have you done for me lately economy” is built on. Each day, the Creator of the universe responds when I say “Search my heart. Clean me up. Reorient my attention and affection to you.” And He will do it again today, and tomorrow, and for all the days until I stand before Him face to face. Hallelujah, what a Savior!
God is faithful. He is working.
