White Fragility: Why It’s So hard for White People to Talk About Racism by Robin DiAngelo was recommended to me by a dear friend…someone who knows that I truly do want to examine my heart on this issue. He recommended that I consider listening to the book rather than just reading it. He suggested that might be a better way to experience the message. I don’t have a lot of notes from this one…so much to consider! Some of it was really helpful and some of it caused me to pushback. Both of those outcomes are valuable and worth wrestling with.

Here was the one quote that still resonates with me several weeks later…

“What have you done today, in your context understanding that all humans are made in the image of God, to push back racism?” (italicized words are my addition)
