Fascinating read by Daniel Nayeri. In the midst of his suffering and the incredible journey Daniel’s family was on my favorite takeaway was when he peacefully pointed to the fact that “Christ is better.” This book is a powerful journey of Daniel’s quest to find his identity in the midst of warring nations and ideologies. The nature of the gospel is that all the broken things on this earth will be put back together in heaven.
Above all the chaos and in the midst of his search for identity, his faith was anchored. Their faith cost their family dearly, but it became the thing that caused them to find their purpose. Excellent read!
