I’ve so enjoyed his both his depth and breadth of biblical wisdom applied to a variety of areas of life. Each morning, he tweets Scripture and a brief application to life that you can check out online HERE. Someone challenged him to consider putting those nuggets of spiritual wisdom into a daily devotional and that brought us: New Morning Mercies, a daily devotional to help us know more of the heart of Christ.
PDT knows that more than anything else we will encounter in the day ahead…we FIRST need to be reminded of the truth of the gospel and how that changes EVERYTHING about how we are to live that day. We must first KNOW Christ in order to make him KNOWN.
I have a morning Bible reading plan that I’ve been doing for years, but have found New Morning mercies to be a great supplement to that time or to other devotional opportunities I have to share with others. I’d highly recommend this and just purchased the teen version for my daughter as well.
