Some of my fondest high school memories center around Homecoming Week during football season. We always played Powder Puff football. This year, we decided to give it a try at North Cobb Christian. We planned for weeks and encouraged all the girls to sign up and play.
On Thursday, November 1st, the first game was freshman vs. juniors and the second game was sophomores vs. seniors. Just as predicted…juniors and seniors each won their games. On Friday, the juniors and seniors played for the championship and the seniors won. The second game on Friday was the seniors against the staff. We had a pretty formidable team as you can see from the picture above. But…alas, victory eluded us, and the seniors were victorious again! We all had a great time. Four days later, most everyone is recovered and ready to head back to school again.
You really never get too old to play outside!
