November 2 | We had a great time this afternoon cheering on Eli’s 8U Strikers in their end of season tournament. They played 4 back to back games and the last one went to double overtime and it ended in a tie. Due to the fact that the other team had more points over the course of the season…they were the champs and we ended runner up. So proud of these guys! November 9 | What a sight to come home to! We had a great Open House @NCCSEagles this morning. I returned home to see my handsome guys out working in the yard making sure we are taking care of our home. @clintstrange32 is so great at showing Eli how to do these things and I love watching Eli follow in his Dad’s footsteps. 1 Corinthians 11:1…with a leaf blower today. #7000days
November 15 | ELEVEN | Happy Birthday to my precious Emma! You are a gift from the Lord and a joy in so many ways. The Lord truly blessed our family when He gave us our sweet girl. She is a wonderful daughter, sister, friend, teammate, and helper in so many ways. She loves celebrating others and is learning a lot this year about being a good teammate and friend. I’m so proud of this girl and grateful that the Lord chose me to be her Mom. Happy Birthday Emma! I love you! #7000days

November 18 | 18 Years ago today I met @clintstrange32 for the first time and my life has truly never been the same. I’m so grateful for the group of friends who felt the Lord leading them to introduce us. Ever since then, I’ve only had eyes for him. God’s goodness and grace towards me through Clint is nothing short of miraculous in so many different ways. He loves and leads me and our kids so well and aims to point to Jesus in everything he does. I love you Clint Strange!
November 19 | Today was the last match of our @NCCSEagles Middle School Tennis season. Emma has so much fun learning a new sport and making new friends. Coach Swank is so encouraging and the kids had a great time this season. Emma is already begging me to sign her up for a league in the spring. November 23 | Family Time. What a gift! Emma discovered Uncle Kevin and Aunt Marina’s old typewriter and has begun composing her memoirs. Eli and Cousin Amelia are committed to keeping her company during the process and will be doing the marketing for the upcoming book release. #StrangeThanksgiving2019#7000days
November 24 | Great morning of worship visiting @nationalcommunitychurch at the Potomac Yard Location. We enjoyed the #Peacemakers series with @MarkBatterson. The message today came from John 4.
1. Check your ego (right v righteous)
2. Identify least common denominators
3. Let your conscience be your guide
4. Don’t be dogmatic about disputable matters (Romans 14:1,22)
5. Love people when they least expect it

November 26 | What a beautiful day for making memories! Our day started with an evacuation on Capitol Hill due to a rogue aircraft in White House airspace. Fortunately that cleared up in time for our tour of the Capitol. After a great Capitol visit, we visited the Library of Congress, walked by The Supreme Court, and had lunch at Union Station. Then we walked down the National Mall to the Museum of American History and then rode scooters to The Washington Monument. From there we walked past The Reflecting Pool just in time to watch the President fly by in Marine One as we walked to The Lincoln Memorial and then over to Arlington to catch the Metro back to the hotel. 21,137 steps…10.2 miles full of memories, laughter, and precious family time. November 27 | Today was dedicated to relaxing and spending time together. Sleeping in. Walking to lunch and to swim at the Y. Coffee on the walk back. Leisurely shopping for the girls. More baking.
