Tonight was the night…Eli insisted we couldn’t wait any longer! For the last several years, our family has used a large mason jar as a great way to keep track of different “adventures” we’ve had through the years. There are no rules. Sometimes it’s a plane ticket that’s thrown in the jar and sometimes it’s a receipt from our beloved @youracworthcfas or a paper napkin ring from a restaurant we happened to find on a roadtrip that was memorable. As we gathered around the jar tonight, each person got a turn to grab one item to talk about and we go around and around until the jar is empty. We had a bunch of 2023 memorabilia from two of our most consistent family partners @nsckennesaw and @nccseagles. We had a blast reminiscing on @tritheparks races we worked at together, mission trips, SCUBA certification, volleyball tournaments, @woodlandscamp, @braves games, @atlhawks, and a visitor sticker from Eli’s multiple ER trips last year 😂. Lots of connections with family and friends, but one thought that is the umbrella over it all.
God is faithful. He is working.
We have so much to be grateful for.
The 2024 jar is set up and ready to roll. #7000days
