March 1 | Super fun afternoon with friends cheering on @NCCSEagles alum Brooke Moore and her Liberty University women’s basketball team against Kennesaw State University. Brooke has been such an encouragement to Emma over the years. It is a joy to cheer her on…she’s a special young lady!
March 5 | We had a great time in Macon cheering on our NCCS Varsity Boys Basketball team in the State Championship with a HUGE crew from NCCS. Our guys fell short, but we are so proud of their incredible season. Almost all of our guys are sophomores…so we know that this is just the start of some really exciting years ahead. I’ve enjoyed being a part of all of these high school things at NCCS for 20 years, but it is even more fun with a high schooler of our own who is making so many cool memories with her friends! Let’s Go Eagles!
March 10 | BOOKS | Here are my first several reads of 2025. Inspiring. Helpful. Commendable. What is on your list to read in 2025? I’m always looking to add to my reading list! #LeadersAreReaders
March 10 | Grateful for the opportunity to be on The Right School Matters podcast with my friend Paul Monteperto to talk about so many of the exciting things that God is doing in and through the community at North Cobb Christian School!
March 14 | GRATEFUL | 23 years ago today this amazing man asked me to be his wife. After following Jesus as a 15 year old, saying “yes” to the adventure that God has for @clintstrange32 and me is the most precious gift I can imagine. Clint Strange…you are more than I ever could have dreamed to even hope for. Thank you for leading and loving me and our family so well! Happy Engage-aversary!
March 14, 2003: I asked this beautiful woman to be wife, and she said “Yes”! I thank God every day for blessing me with Megan Abel Strange . She loves and cares for me and our family so well, and points to Jesus in all that she does. I pray for many, many years together as walk hand-in-hand following Jesus.
March 16 | STRANGEABELGRAFFAMS TAKE MURFREESBORO | Super fun weekend with family cheering on our sweet @emma.k.strange and her teammates in a volleyball tournament. We also got to celebrate a cousin birthday and get into all kinds of shenanigans at a VRBO that was just perfect for all of us! Special bonus to catch up with the Bartletts on Sunday morning! Lots of fun @nccseagles connections all around.
5 years after COVID shut everything down, it’s awesome to have a crazy long weekend like this one. I never want to take it for granted! The highlight was family time for sure…but a close second was singing worship songs at the top of our lungs in the car there and back while Em and Eli played car DJ. #Grateful #7000days
March 18 | ALUMNI ROADTRIP | I’m in Nashville learning a lot at the @herzog_foundation conference with Dr. Hedges as we are talking spiritual formation with people at Christian schools like @nccseagles. In the midst of learning a lot, it was such a treat to have dinner with @emmar.bartlett (Belmont) and @christina_surcey (Lipscomb)! More than anything, it was so encouraging to hear how they are growing in their faith and finding community in this season of life. They both had some awesome stories to share and we enjoyed a lot of laughs! What a joy to be able to remain connected with our students after graduation…they are pretty cool people! @nccsstudentlife @nccs.alumni
March 19 | Really grateful to have spent the last few days at the Stanley M. Herzog Foundation Spiritual Formation conference in Nashville learning with and from some really great Christian schools across the country. These are sacred times to pull away for a few days to be affirmed in many of the things that we are doing, to be reminded of why we do what we do, and to be encouraged and inspired to take the next hill. God is doing an incredible work in and through our Christian schools and I know the best days are still ahead as we partner with parents to invest in families to the glory of God.
March 21 | “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.””
Deuteronomy 31:6 ESV
March 27 | Opening night of Little Women at NCCS was AWESOME! I’m so proud of all the students, faculty, and staff involved in this show. We had the privilege of enjoying the result of several weeks of hard work on their behalf. Don’t miss it…two more shows on Friday and Saturday! Come back and join us Saturday evening for senior night!
March 31 | CONTACTS | My most precious little guy got contacts today. He is so proud! He’s had a pretty rigorous series of things to show responsibility in order to get this privilege. I’m proud of his hard work and loved how he never stopped smiling at basketball practice tonight…for the first time his glasses weren’t getting all bumped around. Mainly, I love his smile. The Lord truly blessed us with this one…and also this one causes us to draw near to the Lord often 😂😎 💙
