APRIL 1 | ELI DAY | God always writes the best stories! 11 years ago today…we met our precious son for the first time. We met Tariku (“man’s story”) and we all know him now as Elijah (“God’s story”). Eli…we love you so much and never could have imagined how much happiness and joy you would bring to our family. God has amazing plans for you my son! You are such a treasure to Mom, Dad, and Emma! We love you!

Colossians 1:17

And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

APRIL 8 | COLLEGE VISITS | It’s a beautiful day for a visit to Liberty Mountain! 😎 Enjoyed bringing the Strange crew to Liberty Mountain to relive some fond memories from my Masters and Ed Specialist days and to get in a college visit for Emma. It has been awhile since I’ve been back for a visit. Wow, this place is incredible! #TrainingChampionsForChrist

APRIL 9 | SPRING BREAK 2025 | Acworth > Myrtle Beach > Lynchburg > Acworth

So grateful for lots of intentional time with the Strange 4 these last several days. This is probably one of the longer roadtrips we’ve done! Volleyball in Myrtle Beach followed by a college visit and catching up with precious friends @libertyuniversity and got home this evening. Grateful for the time…and grateful that Spring Break still has a few days left! #7000days

APRIL 18 | TEAM IMPACT | First travel ball basketball game for our little guy. Eli is really enjoying @teamimpacthoopsga and especially his awesome coach @clintstrange32! It was extra special to have Mimi in town to cheer him on with us tonight. #7000days

APRIL 20 | HAPPY EASTER | We had a great time worshipping with my Mom and lots of friends for Easter @nsckennesaw at North Cobb HS.

Matthew 28:6 | He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.

And that changes EVERYTHING! Hope is alive!

APRIL 20 | LANDSCAPING + MEMORIES | We have had the best time with Mom in town this weekend! We’ve been saying we want to do something landscaping and had about 6 projects in mind. We invited Mom down for Easter and hoped to knock out 1 or 2 of the projects. Thanks to her creativity and hard work keeping us all on track…we finished all of the projects. We worked super hard, laughed a ton, and made a ton of special memories this weekend. The whole family pitched in! And now, we are relaxing and enjoying Easter dinner and this beautiful weather! Grateful! #7000days

APRIL 28 | ACADEMY CAPSTONE SHOWCASE | Monday 4.28

Join us TONIGHT 4.28, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. for the Academy Capstone Showcase in the Upper School Building! Enjoy impressive presentations from seniors in the Business Academy; Academy of Exercise and Sport Science; STEM Academy; and the Academy of Counseling, Ministry, and Education, as well as a mini-clinic hosted by our Anatomy and Healthcare Science students. This is a vision-casting opportunity for our LS + MS students to be inspired by their older peers! Opening presentation at 6:00 p.m. in The Commons. Drop in anytime, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.!

APRIL 28 | ACADEMY CAPSTONE SHOWCASE | I’m so proud of the students and directors from our @nccseagles Academies. We had a HUGE turnout for the Capstone Showcase this evening where our seniors were able to present the findings from their internships and projects and the underclassmen presented their work in progress. Each year this event has grown and the excitement continued tonight! We know that high school is a season of life where kids learn more about who they are becoming!

Special thanks to our Academy Directors: Coach Speck (STEM), Coach Moore (Business), Dr. Hedges (Counseling, Ministry, and Education), and Coach Sanders (Exercise and Sport Science). Each capstone presented tonight is the result of a long partnership between each Director and these seniors. We are excited to see how the Lord will use these experiences to shape the paths of each of these students for His glory and the good of others! @nccsstudentlife

APRIL 28 | SPRING ART SHOW | I love seeing the creativity of our @nccseagles students on display! Mr. Rupp, Mrs. Slaughter, and their students have outdone themselves with the variety of artwork on display for the spring art show. I am always blown away at the way our artists grow over the course of a school year and over their career at NCCS. Opening night was a blast tonight…lots of excitement! The show is open after school each day this week. Come check it out and enjoy all the art on display! Well done Eagle Artists! @nccsarts
