Understanding God’s Word by Jon Nielson is a wonderful resource for both the devoted Christ follower and the person who is just starting to study God’s word. He does a remarkable job of breaking down the hermeneutical process into a system that makes sense. He uses C’s to describe each of the “tools” in the box of the person that desires to understand and interpret the Bible.
