JULY 3 | HOMEMADE PASTA | Emma continues to try new things in the kitchen and we are the fortunate recipients of her culinary adventures! She has been wanting to try to make homemade pasta, so she did last night and it was AWESOME! She made homemade fettuccini with chicken fritta, homemade alfredo sauce, and roasted broccoli. It was much better than any chicken fettuccini I’ve had at a restaurant. Can’t wait to see/watch what she’s cooking up next! Emma is always up for trying new things and we LOVE it! #7000days
JULY 4 | FOURTH OF JULY | Family, friends, food, and fireworks. What a day! Grateful for all who have served to secure and protect our freedom.
Grateful to live in the City of Acworth where our time together at the city event at the lake included being led in prayer thanking the Lord for all He has done for us. #7000days
JULY 8 | SUMMER NIGHTS | Pizza, swimming, catching up with dear friends of almost 25 years, and chatting the night away around the fire pit. The Lord is gracious and kind!
I also want to give a shoutout to my sweet husband for making the planters/light setup for me for Mother’s Day. I am always sending him ideas for stuff I’d like to have for us to enjoy around the house and he just keeps making the stuff…Strange Woodworking! So grateful! 🤍
JULY 12 | RICHARD B RUSSELL STATE PARK | Another super fun weekend for the Strange crew + bonus Emma along with our friends @tritheparks. This race is extra fun because it is two races in one…a sprint length or an Olympic length. We always have a blast cheering on these athletes and hanging with our friends. A lovely time was had by all @ann_d_carr! Let’s meet up again in August! #7000days
JULY 24 | UPPER SCHOOL TEAM | Last night was the official kickoff for this year’s @NCCSEagles Upper School Team. We had 83 over to cookout, hangout, and celebrate what God has done in assembling a team of godly men and women to link arms and point kids to Jesus. We work hard, but we have a blast when we can just hangout. Would you be willing to pray with us and for us? We know God has some big things in store for each of us and the families we will partner with.

JULY 25 | SENIOR RAFTING | Pretty solid day at the office! Our @NCCSEagles Senior Rafting/Leadership Trip is THE BEST way to kickoff the school year. Every part of me will be sore tomorrow…but mostly my face from all of the laughing with these awesome seniors and faculty/staff. Such a gift to have this time together as we prepare to walk out Philippians 1:27 and Titus 2:7-8 as servant leaders this year. #WeAreNCCS #NCCSFamily #GoEagles
JULY 28 | 25-26 SCHOOL YEAR | I’m so excited about what God has in store for this year @NCCSEagles! He has done incredible things in the past at our school, but we fix our eyes on Jesus knowing that, in Christ, the best truly is yet to come!
Will you join us in praying for our faculty and staff who will all be together for the first time this school year this morning? And for our students and their families that will be on campus for Parent Orientation, Meet the Teacher, and the first day of school over the course of the next week? God has brought us all together on purpose for His great purpose.

JULY 31 | HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLINT | Happy Birthday to my favorite person on the planet! Clint is a hero in his home and a blessing to all who know him. We love the way he loves the Lord, serves so willingly, keeps us laughing, provides for us with so much wisdom, and has created a home for his family. Clint is the easiest person in the world to celebrate! Even if today that means at Meet the Teacher, a football parent meeting, and a football scrimmage 😂 With his family is where Clint wants to be and he is such a gift to us! 💙🎉
