This has been a really fun month! Emma is into figuring things out and tries to imitate everything that Mommy and Daddy are doing. For some reason, she has started saying “Bobby” to mean “Mommy”…perhaps that is just easier to say! We are having a good laugh about that!
We have spent a ton of time playing outside, reading books, jumping on inflatables at a friend’s birthday party, and just having some fun time with family and friends. Emma loves playing with Bubbles and empty water bottles. She also likes to eat pizza, peanut butter and jelly, and anything else she can eat all by herself. She loves her shoes and insists on wearing them all the time. We have even had some days that she wears them for naptime or to go to sleep at night!
We celebrated Emma’s actual 19 month milestone on a family vacation to Disney World, but I’ll post those pictures separately. Now that I am off for four weeks on summer vacation, we are making a lot of special memories. Emma is growing up so fast and has become Little Miss Independent. She is sleeping in a big bed. One of the pictures shows her asleep on a pile of books. She loves to get up during naptime or early in the morning and pull out her books to read or play with her flashcards. It is so cool to see how excited she is to have her whole room to herself!
