DECEMBER 8 | HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELI | 13 is a big one! This year has been full of growth and it is a joy to see the way Eli is learning what it means to be a young man. He loves helping and really enjoys making people laugh! The Lord has grown him in so many ways and is gently shaping him in others. And the Lord is using Eli to shape us as well! He continued to love all sports and we still love our “Coach Strange Keys for Success” for any sport we are watching and his hilarious “tour guide” attempts. He is so blessed with great friends. As delightful as Eli is, he is also very much a middle school boy learning the right time and place for things…but keeping us laughing for the most part with his good-natured antics.
We continue to be blown away by God’s plans for Eli’s life and the Lord’s gracious invitation to us to have a front row seat to watching that unfold. Eli continues to love @nsckennesaw and @nccseagles and we are so thankful for the partnership of an amazing church and awesome Christian school in his discipleship process.
Isaiah 26:3-4 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.
Eli, you are dearly loved! It is a joy to be your Mom and to pray for you and cheer you on always! 🤍 #7000days
DECEMBER 12 | Emma hosted a party at the house tonight to celebrate her birthday and Christmas with her friends. What a gift to rejoice in the great friendships the Lord has blessed our girl with. In this season of life, friends help chart a course for the future in many ways.
DECEMBER 25 | Isaiah 9:2
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone.
DECEMBER 28 | NEW YORK 🎄 2025 | Christmas morning surprise for my Mom…a girls weekend in NYC for all the Christmasy things. My Mom has never been to New York and has always wanted to go. As a single mom raising three kids, my Mom sacrificed so much for us…often working multiple jobs and going without…so that we could have what we needed and more! My brother, sister, and I have enjoyed showing our gratitude as adults. Mom always made Christmas special for us as kids and it was a blast to surprise her this year with a trip she’s always wanted to take!
We headed out early on the 26th and hit the ground running…Penn Station, Times Square, Empire State Building, Wo Hop, Chinatown, open top bus tours, 9/11 Memorial and Museum, a beautiful snowstorm, Macy’s at Herald Square, Los Tacos No. 1, Bryant Park Winter Village, Rockettes Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Tree, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Public library, The Met, Central Park, John’s Pizza, shopping, and lots of coffee and hot chocolate. New York through the eyes of my Mom and my daughter was one for the books! Grateful for the adventure! #7000days
DECEMBER 29 | CHRISTMAS 2025 🎄 | So much to be grateful for! Precious time with family and friends, great food, rest, lots of laughter, catching up, and unrushed schedules. The Lord is gracious and kind, truly the giver of all good things. #7000days
DECEMBER 31 | 2025 | God is faithful. He is working.
2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
