APRIL 5 | HAPPY EASTER | So grateful for a wonderful Easter weekend at NorthStar with my Strange peeps and so many friends. Always a joy to worship and serve together!

John 11:25-26

[25] Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, [26] and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

John 14:19

[19] Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.

APRIL 10 | SPRING BREAK 2026 | So grateful for time away with my favorite Strange people! We headed to Destin right after church wrapped up on Easter and got to the beach in time for dinner. The first 24 hours were a little breezy and rainy, but that sure made for some great naps! Then the sun came out and we enjoyed a really restful time together with no schedule at all! We ate at some family favorites: @theshrimpbasket, @deweydestinsoriginal, Papi’s Tacos and Burger Eatery, @donutholeflorida, and @backporchdestin. Clint and Eli enjoyed some mini golf and go karts. I read several books. Emma took several naps. We cooked, wandered around, and just enjoyed each other’s company for a few days away. The Lord is so gracious and kind to give us these days. We are already excited about planning some summer adventures! #7000days

APRIL 19 | STRANGE BERRY FARM | Get your buckets ready! I’ve learned so much about gardening this past year thanks to my Mom. She helped us do a lot of landscaping around our house last spring and it has been a blast to watch it all come together. I decided the other day that it was ridiculous to keep paying so much for blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries when I could just plant my own! Thanks @_carriepeterson for the nudge!

I called Mom and she started some brainstorming. My Strange people are always up for adventure, so we headed to WalMart after dinner last night. We finished planting everything in the dark and I finished up the pine straw and mulch just now. The Strange U-Pick-Em sign will be going up soon 😂 Take that produce prices! #7000days

APRIL 21 | GO JACKETS | Clint and I had a great time with Ben and Cassie at the Tech/GA baseball game at Truist Park. We were invited by one of our favorite NCCS alums who hosted a group for his company.  It was super fun to go out on a school night and just have a great time cheering on the Jackets.

APRIL 25 | FLAG FOOTBALL | We are so grateful Eli has such a great group of buddies. Some of them are playing together in a Flag Football team at Lakepoint this spring. They won big last night and had a great time celebrating at Waffle House! #7000days

APRIL 27 | GOLF TEAM | Super proud of Emma for taking on a new sport this spring.  After deciding to retire from Club Volleyball, we told her that she may want to consider getting a job.  She decided she’d rather pick up another sport in favor of hanging with friends and contributing to the Eagles.  And we have had a blast cheering her on!  Her season wrapped up today in the Area Tournament.  She had a great season and we are excited to see what senior year will hold for our budding young golfer! ⛳
