JUNE 3 + 4 ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDSET | Super fun to have our friend Stephen Carter on campus to teach the Entrepreneurial Mindset to a group of teachers from NCCS and Mt. Paran. Some of us have attended Stephen’s conference in Cincinnati and it was great to be reminded of some of these principles and how they can work in any class or learning experience.
JUNE 11 21 YEARS | Today wrapped my 21st year serving at @nccseagles. God’s kindness was the theme of this year in so many ways. Through the mountaintops and valleys and all the in between, God has been so faithful. The rhythm of a school year provides a chance to reflect on the goodness of the Lord. The season of summer break allows for rest and reflection to be reminded that, in Christ, the best is always yet to come!

JUNE 13 ELI THE LANDSCAPE HERO | One of our dear friends hired Eli to help her with a sod project in her yard. He had the best time figuring out how to lay sod and it turned out really nice! What a fun way to earn $$ towards his DR mission trip for Fall Break!

What a God! These past two weeks have been nothing short of a miracle. God gave me the opportunity to go and serve in the Dominican Republic through medical missions. I had the chance to work alongside doctors and nurses and see how they use healthcare to share the gospel with others. I also got to participate in VBS and sports ministry and loved being able to use those ministries as a way to share the gospel with others. If I learned anything at all, it’s that being a missionary is not always easy, but it is always worth it. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to be able to share the gospel with others and grow His kingdom. God is good!

JUNE 21 HAPPY FATHER’S DAY | Today is a great time to celebrate the guy who is up for anything and who always makes things more fun. Clint loves and leads our family so well. He honors the Lord with the way he seeks wisdom and discernment and also in his generosity and thoughtfulness. Our kids have a beautiful picture of what it means to have a loving Heavenly Father because of the way Clint points them to Jesus. Clint had a wonderful Dad growing up and we all miss him. Clint’s Dad set a wonderful course for adventuring and that continues on in our family as we explore together! Happy Father’s Day Clint…you were made to be a Dad and you are an awesome one. You are a hero in your home and we love you dearly! 🤍
JUNE 27 ROATÁN, HONDURAS 🇭🇳 | The best part about an awesome family vacation is that I get to go home with the people I enjoy so much! We had the best time exploring Roatan, Honduras this week. We swam, did some scuba diving, zip lined, read, got lots of rest, ate way too much great food, snorkeled, explored other parts of the island, watched a bunch of World Cup games with people from various countries, walked the beach, laughed a lot, cracked up at a man walking up and down the beach carrying a monkey under a floral umbrella, did some amazing people watching, and had pretty much no schedule at all. The unrushed rhythms of summer are truly a gift and we did our best to wring every bit of fun out of this week. Grateful for my Strange people. Teenagers are super cool and we are really enjoying this season with Emma and Eli! The Lord is so kind and gracious to give us these opportunities to totally get away and be refreshed. #7000days
