Today’s Reading: Matthew 20, Luke 20, John 20 (New American Standard Bible)

Takeaways:

  • Humans are greedy.  It is interesting how quick we are to throw the “not fair” card when we actually have been treated more than fairly as it relates to eternity.
  • Jesus didn’t come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.
  • Jesus asked hard questions in an effort to make people think.  Am I as a Christian doing everything I can to make sure that my mind is sharp?
  • Luke 20:19 begins an awesome passage on submitting to authority.
  • The tomb was empty when they went to check it.  The tomb is STILL EMPTY!
  • Did you catch in John 20:19 when Jesus went through the door that was closed to meet with the disciples?
