Today’s Reading: Matthew 23, Luke 23, Mark 2 (New American Standard Bible)

Takeaways:

  • Jesus said that the greatest would be a servant.
  • How often do we focus on the details that really don’t matter?
  • I don’t use the word “Woe” enough.
  • Herod finally saw Jesus after wanting to see him for so many years.  What do you think that Herod thinks of Jesus now?
  • I wonder if Simon knew how huge it was that he was chosen to carry the cross for Jesus?
  • Reading the crucifixion story is always terribly hard to read.  Especially when I remember it was my sins that nailed Him to the cross.
  • Isn’t it incredible to know that the paralytic was healed simply because of the faith of his friends?
