Today’s Reading: Matthew 24, Luke 24, Mark 3 (New American Standard Bible)

Takeaways:

  • Even when everything else has passed away, God’s Word will never pass away.
  • This passage makes me think of Larry Norman’s song “I Wish We’d All Been Ready”.  Here is a link to DC Talk doing that song on YouTube.
  • When I read the story of the two men on the road to Emmaus, it reminds me of the fact that God is often trying to get my attention and I am totally oblivious to that.  My prayer is that I would be more sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
