Today’s Reading: Matthew 27, Mark 8, Mark 9 (New American Standard Bible)

Takeaways:

  • Judas tried to reverse the decision that he had made.  Fortunately it wasn’t his decision to make!
  • Even in His death, Jesus convinced people what true life was all about.
  • Reading through the four gospels, I have read this story a few times now.  I have to ask myself, “Who is God calling me to feed?”
  • What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?
  • I believe that Jesus thrives on doing the things that the world has labeled “impossible”.
