We had Emma’s 3rd Birthday Party the Saturday before her actual birthday. We have had her party the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend the past two years. However, that wasn’t going to work out this year for a variety of reasons and it was great to have her birthday be special just for her. We mostly had family for Emma’s party, but also included a few special friends that Emma loves to play with. We kept it simple with hot dogs, chips, dips, and other snacks. Emma requested cupcakes and we had a great time making those. Aunt Katie made the icing look fancy and then we added some special little cupcake toppers that went with a cute banner that I printed off the internet. The decorations turned out pretty cute.
We had a great time at Emma’s party and love the fact that Emma has so many special and thoughtful people in her life. Emma’s birthday was on November 15. Clint and I took Emma to Build a Bear and out to dinner at Chuck E Cheese. The three of us had a great time. It’s hard to believe Emma is already 3, but we are loving every moment with our sweet little girl.
