As always…March flew by! Emma is 3 years and 4 months old and blazing all kinds of new trails. She continues to be such a joy and treasure for me and Clint. Everyday she comes up with something new and she keeps us on our toes! March brought the last few cold nights and a few crazy storms that caused us to have to hunker down in the basement. When we are in the house, Emma loves to drag out all of her dress up clothes and have me fix her hair so she can play. Emma loves Aunt Katie and was so excited that Katie came to visit us for a weekend when Clint was away for a church retreat. Emma, Katie, and I had a great time making chocolate peanut butter sandwiches, eating pizza, 0utlet shopping, and lots of other fun things.
We brought the boat to our house one afternoon to get it cleaned up and ready for weekends on the lake. Emma jumped right in and helping scrub and wash the boat along with us. We all worked so hard that we decided to reward ourselves with an afternoon on the lake. Emma was so ready for the lake and was a little bummed we didn’t bring the tube. She is our adventurous girl!
I went to Italy for a week on a trip from school (more about that in another blog post). While I was gone, Clint and Emma had a great time visiting lots of family in Summerville and hanging out with friends back in Acworth. The weather was so nice that week that Clint and Emma spent the evening at Kenworth park sliding, swinging, and climbing. Our little daredevil always wants to climb higher and run faster than everyone else! When our group arrived back at the Atlanta airport, Emma made me feel so good as she broke free from the welcoming crowd to run and jump up in my arms. What a sweet girl!
The pictures below should give you a glimpse into how much our sweet girl is growing up. She is our little prayer warrior and loves to do family devotions at night with us. We continue to pray that Emma will do amazing things for God’s glory and the good of others!
