Our family had a wonderful Easter weekend! We spent Saturday out on the lake with friends talking about the incredible things that God did in and through our Spring Term program at NCCS. We woke up Easter Sunday morning to a beautiful day of celebration of the resurrection of our Savior. Clint, Emma, and I ate breakfast at home, took some family pictures, and checked out Emma’s Easter basket. We headed to Cedarcrest Church for the message “All is Grace.” Clint’s mom and stepdad met us for church and then we all had a great lunch on the patio at La Parilla where Emma picked up another bag of Easter goodies from Granna and Poppy. We came home to a few more pictures and to check out the Easter things that Mimi, Aunt Katie, and Uncle Deedul sent for Emma. After checking out all of her cool things, Emma headed up for an Easter nap with a huge smile on her face. Her nap time prayer included…”Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross to save us from our sins.” What a blessing for Clint and I to know that she understands what Easter is all about!
