Today I got to be part of throwing a suprise party for a good friend. He turned 50 and it was a blast! His family really got into it along with a lot of us that work together. I think we are a great team and it’s fun to do “life things” together like birthdays, weddings, lunch, parties, etc.
I walked away realizing the power of encouragement. I am reminded time and again that as good as it feels to be encouraged, it feels even better to be able to encourage someone else.
“My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ.” Colossians 2:2
