August 1 | WORSHIP + PRAYER | There are many things to do before school starts on Tuesday. There is nothing more important than to spend time in worship and prayer with our awesome @nccseagles Upper School team. We spent time this morning before Meet the Teacher lifting our voices to the Lord and then prayed over every single name in the upper school as well as for our Lower and Middle School community. What a joy to join with my brothers and sisters in Christ on this great adventure that God has called us to. Asking the Lord to make every part of this year about Him and for His glory alone.
August 6 | LET’S GO EAGLES | Today was a GREAT First Day of school! It was so sweet to be back together with all of our students in the building! And so precious because I get to go to school everyday with my favorite Eagles!
Today was the start of 10th grade, 6th grade, and my 20th year at @NCCSEagles! And @clintstrange32 got us started off with sweet notes in the car, lots of texts and prayer from dear friends, and an awesome cookie from one of our student leaders. The Lord is faithful and kind and we are so excited about what He has in store for all of us this year.

August 11 | MOM IN TOWN | We really enjoyed having my Mom back in Acworth this weekend. We did all the Acworth things…shopped Main Street, ate at Miss L’s, ate at Rico’s, hung out by the pool, watched the Olympics, cooked out, visited Scoops, golf carted to Dallas Landing for the sunset with friends, worshipped together at @nsckennesaw, and wrapped it up with lunch on the patio at Pablano’s. So grateful for this time with Mom and we can’t wait to see her again soon!
August 13 | CIRCLE OF PRAYER | Such a joy to gather our family with our school family @nccseagles this morning for our annual Circle of Prayer. We are so grateful to be a part of a school family that knows “from whence our strength comes” as @tdclingman is so great to remind us often. Praying and believing the Lord has exciting things in store for all of us this year as we draw near to Him. #GoEagles #7000days
August 23 | August 23, 2003 | 21 years ago these kids said I DO to God’s plan for our lives with prayers and hope that God would work in and through us for His glory and the good of others. There is no one I’d rather get old and gray with…so many incredible memories and a lifetime of God’s faithfulness. Praying for many more awesome moments with @clintstrange32 by my side. Happy Anniversary babe!
August 30 | ROLL TIDE | College Football Spirit day at @nccseagles is always a family favorite! Pumped to see a lot of Crimson in the halls today!
August 31 | 21 YEARS | Grateful for an evening out to celebrate 21 years of being married to the best guy. We enjoyed checking out @macschophouse for the first time…very good! The company was even better!
