I’m really enjoying this study on Randy Alcorn’s book The Treasure Principle that we are doing at Cedarcrest Church. The theme of Week 3 is Heavenly Treasures talking about investing in eternity rather than the present. There is a great story about Jim Elliot, a missionary that was ultimately killed while following the call of Christ on his life. One of his quotes has always resounded with me and it showed up here again in our study.
