Seven Questions to Ask Myself

I saw this over on Tony Morgan’s blog this morning and thought it was really great. This is one of those things I’ll post on my bulletin board in my office. This time of year it is particularly relevant as we wind down the school year.

1. Am I living above reproach? (II Timothy 2:20-21)
2. Is this job my passion or my paycheck? (II Samuel 23:9-10)
3. Am I in line with where we are going as an organization?
4. Do I feel like I deserve more? (Philippians 2:6-8)
5. Am I reflecting on how things used to be or passionate about how things are going to be?
6. Do I feel like I have to “kill time” because there is “nothing to do?” (There’s always something to do when you’re in the “people business.”)
7. Do I fully trust the leadership? (I Thes. 5:12-13)

Good stuff there. If you haven’t asked yourself these same questions, it may be time to. And, I think it would be wise to challenge the rest of your teams with these questions as well.
