Passages Exhibit

This past Monday, I had the privilege of attending the Passages Exhibit in Atlanta along with our entire Upper School student body, faculty, and staff from North Cobb Christian School.  I can say without a shred of exaggeration that this was one of the most remarkable experiences of my life.  The Green family that owns Hobby Lobby has assembled an amazing collection of biblical artifacts that is unlike anything you’ve seen before.  One of the things that really stood out to me was the letter that Martin Luther wrote the night before he nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Castle Church at Wittenberg, thereby kicking off the Reformation.  The letter that Luther wrote was his last will and testament.  He knew that he could potentially face death for the statements he was making about the church…but he was willing to die for the truth of God’s Word.  Powerful!

If you live in the Atlanta area, I would encourage you to grab a group of folks that would love the opportunity to visually experience the Bible throughout all of history and head down to the Perimeter mall area to check this out.  The exhibit is only here until June 30, 2012.  Please don’t miss this.

“This exhibition is a ‘tour de force’ of the history of the most-banned, most-debated, best-selling book of all time.”
─Steve Green,

President, Hobby Lobby
