How are you using your platform?

I firmly believe that all of us have a platform of some sort through which we can convey our personal thoughts and convictions on different matters.  Sure..some platforms tend to have a little more exposure than others…pro athletes, politicians, actors, etc.  But, that doesn’t change the fact that we all have platforms that we are to be good stewards of.  If someone were to shove a microphone in your face to ask a hard question, perhaps even in the midst of adversity, would you respond in such a way that proves that Jesus Christ is truly the Lord of your life?  I truly believe that we will be accountable for how we used our platform.

Here are two great examples of what I mean by this…

Brit Hume appearing on The O’Reilly Factor on Fox News to discuss why he suggested that Tiger Woods needs Christ to have any hope at all to emerge from his devastating moral choices.  If you don’t see the video embedded above, click here for the link.

This video is of Colt McCoy and Mark Ingram being interviewed after the National Championship football game. Colt McCoy was injured at the very beginning of the game and was knocked out of playing in the biggest game in his life. What a powerful testimony!
