AUGUST 2 | SATURDAY STEWARDSHIP | There are millions of reasons that I love and respect @clintstrange32 and Instagram certainly doesn’t have enough squares to contain them all. This morning I’m reminded of Clint’s huge heart for financial stewardship. Several years ago the Lord grabbed his heart through a variety of things including @crownministries (thank you Jon Carmean), @joesangl, & @daveramsey. Clint quickly brought me along in his gentle way & we learned some valuable principles from God’s word about money.

1. Many people spend time complaining about the expensive emergencies that come up in life…even after they have made wise choices with their money. Turn that thinking upside down and whisper a quiet prayer of thanks to the Lord that you have the money to address that emergency.

2. Zero budgeting – At the beginning of each month, sit down with a budget and tell each dollar where to go so you don’t get to the end of the month and wonder where it all went!

3. Make choices now with your finances to help you live the life that you believe that God has called your family to. Your priorities will show in your bank account. What is the legacy you want to leave for your kids and the ministries you care most passionately about?

We have several close friends that have engaged this journey with us over the last several years and it brings us great joy to see Emma and Eli now understanding how to be strategic stewards. We have no desire to stockpile treasure for ourselves (Matthew 6:19-21), but rather to do our best to use the money God has entrusted us with to reach people for His glory through ministries and missions our family and friends love to partner with.

This morning, Clint is off to meet with a family before 8am on a Saturday just to talk through finances and offer another set of eyes to encourage a family to take a step towards following Jesus with their stewardship. He’s done this for many years now…all for free…as a ministry that the Lord has called him to.

Will you join me in praying for the families Clint is working with and others he’d love to help? If that might be you, reach out. He’d love to help. He always starts by sharing our story of bad choices!

AUGUST 3 | CLASS OF 2026 CHALKING | Normally this event takes place under the brightest sun at around 200 degrees. The folks that came out this afternoon after the parking lot dried from the rain enjoyed overcast skies and a cool breeze. Lots of beautiful parking spots, laughter reminiscing about growing up, and a good reminder of the precious community we enjoy at @nccseagles. Excited about all the Lord has in store as He works in and through the NCCS Class of 2026 for His glory and the good of others. Will you join me in praying for these awesome seniors and their families? Let’s Go Eagles!

AUGUST 4 | FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL | We had THE BEST First Day of School @nccseagles today and I’m so thankful to have spent it with my favorite kids! Emma started 11th grade, Eli started 7th grade, and I started year 21 at NCCS. I am so thankful for our awesome faculty, staff, students, and families that make up such a precious community to be a part of. Believing God has incredible things in store for all of us this year! And as always, @clintstrange32 came through with the sweetest first day of school notes for everyone! I know he must have been so bored with a quiet house today 😂💙 #7000days

AUGUST 8 | UPPER SCHOOL RETREAT 2025 + STAND FIRM | This year we celebrated the 20th Annual @nccseagles Upper School Retreat @woodlandscamp with over 500 of our favorite faculty, staff, and students. In the Lord’s loving kindness, we have seen Jesus. We will never be the same. I can’t imagine a more incredible way to start a school year. Building relationships, growing in Christ.

Philippians 1:27 Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel,

AUGUST 14 | EAGLES FOOTBALL | 23 is my favorite 🤍 I’m so grateful for the game of football and all that our coaches @nccseagles do to invest in these young men. They work hard and they have a blast doing it. I love what football can do for the heart and character of a young man. I love the way these guys battle for each other and for their shared goals. Excited for the season ahead! Let’s go Eagles! @nccsathletics @hudsonjamesphotography

AUGUST 23 | 08•23•03 | 22 years ago @clintstrange32 and I said I DO to God’s plan for our lives with prayer and the hope that God would work in and through us for His glory and the good of others. The adventure has been a blast so far! Praying for many more awesome moments with @clintstrange32 by my side.

One of our favorite blessings this past year was a gift from our dear friend Nate Rupp. At our wedding, we had family and friends sign a mat around our engagement picture. That was pretty much the trendiest wedding thing back in those days 😂 Over time, the signatures had faded…many so much that only the imprint was still barely visible. Nate invested a ton of time, effort, and talent to restore the whole thing. It has been an absolute joy to look back over so many of the signatures and sentiments on that picture and to recognize God’s faithfulness in all of those prayers over our marriage and our family these years. Particularly poignant this year as a couple of close friends have lost their husbands in the past year. God is faithful and He is good.

Colossians 1:17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Happy Anniversary babe!
