Easter 2011

Easter 2011 was a blast in the Strange house.  We were so excited that my brother Kevin could join us for Easter again.  In fact, we were also commenting on how glad we were that we invested in an Easter basket for him a few years ago.  It is cool that he is able to come and spend time with us when he is off work…he is a very cool brother and a wonderful uncle!

We spent Saturday morning at Cedarcrest Church along with some other NCCS families participating in the Easter Egg Hunt.  Emma really enjoyed it.  At one point, her basket was so full that she just dumped all the eggs out so she could start over!  After the egg hunt, we spent the rest of the day out on the boat relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather.

We woke up Easter morning excited about going to church to celebrate the fact that our Savior lives!  I made pancakes and bacon for everyone and then we got dressed, snapped a few pictures, and headed out.  After church we did Easter baskets and then headed up to Clint’s mom’s house for the afternoon.  The food was great and the weather was so nice that we sat outside.  Emma ran and ran and ran for most of the time we were there.  She was so happy to wear her Easter dress and she loved playing outside.  We had a great Easter Weekend!
